Mark Tabron CEO & FOUNDER

With more than three decades of financial industry experience, Mark is as passionate about building meaningful relationships and custom-tailored retirement strategies as he once was about his musical ambitions.

“One of the things my clients who have been with us for a while think about us is that we’re genuine,” Mark said. “They don’t just get a postcard from us at Christmas. They know we’re genuine and we believe in giving back.”

Mark gets to know his clients on a personal level because his mission is to help them protect and grow their money so they can achieve their financial objectives. A motivational speaker, host of the “How to Protect and Grow Your Money” radio show and author of a book titled “You Are a Winner,” Mark prides himself on educating his clients and helping them make informed decisions about their finances and future.

One piece of advice Mark often shares with clients and prospects: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.”

Mark has been assisting people with their financial goals since 1991, when he started his firm. He has obtained his life and health insurance licenses and maintains affiliations with the National Ethics Association and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. His company also is a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Before entering the financial profession, Mark graduated from Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies and dreamed of becoming a famous musician. He wrote and performed a song about 7-foot-6 former NBA center Manute Bol, among others, and operated a record company before discovering how challenging and competitive the recording industry can be.

“When I ran out of money, I started looking for a business,” said Mark, who also worked for the Washington Bullets of the NBA. “I found this business and got excited about the opportunities.”

A resident of Cheverly, Maryland, Mark has been married for more than 26 years to his beautiful wife, Karen, who works with him. Mark and Karen are blessed with a wonderful family including three daughters, four grandchildren and two sons-in-law, one of whom works at Tabron & Associates. They also have a dog named Ned.

When he isn’t helping clients, Mark still enjoys writing music and playing the drums. He also hopes to write a couple more books, including a children’s version of “You Are a Winner.”
